Shell Club
Shell Club is the outreach arm of Saltash Wesley Methodist Church
for children aged from 7 to 14.
They meet on Friday evenings in term time in two sessions
- For school years 3 - 6 from 6pm to 8pm
- For school years 7 - 9 from 7.30pm to 9pm
The primary aims of Shell Club are:-
- Provide a safe meeting place for varied group activities under supervision
- Introduction to a church environment with some Christian teaching
- Building relationships by meeting new friends
- Giving parents free time
Activities include:-
- Team games in the Sports Hall with mixed group participation
- Art and craft sessions
- Basic cooking
- Away activity days
- Demonstrations and talks by public service groups such as the police and fire brigade
- Christian teaching using visual media and interactive discussion
Admission fee for each session is £1
Away activity trips incur a small additional charge
A tuck shop provides free fruit, soft drinks and biscuits
Additional sweets may be purchased

| 17th October | Bowling trip to VUE subsidised by the Rotary Club £2.50 each |
| 24th October | Pool competition, Badminton,
Nintendo Wii, Table tennis, Arts & Crafts Visit and talk by the Saltash Police from 8pm onwards |
| 31st October | HALF TERM No Shell Club |
| 7th November | Making indoor fireworks, Volcanoes, Nintendo Wii, Table tennis, Football |
| 14th November | HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL TRIP |
| 21st November | Face paints, Dance mats, Basketball, Football, Pool competition |
| 28th November | Cooking, Keep fit, Aerobics, Dance, Football, Hockey, Nintendo Wii |
| 5th December | T shirt printing (bring a plain T shirt), Nintendo Wii, Table tennis, Football |
| 12th December | Card making, Calendars, Tennis, Football, Dance mats |
| 19th December | Christingle and Party |
