Shell & Youth Club

Shell & Youth Clubs are the outreach arms of Saltash Wesley Methodist Church

They meet on Friday evenings in term time in two sessions

Shell Club: For school years 3 - 6 from 6 pm to 7.30 pm

Youth club: For school years 7 - 11 from 7.45 pm to 9.30 pm

The primary aims of the Clubs are:- Provide a safe meeting place for varied group activities under supervision

Introduction to a church environment with some Christian teaching

Building relationships by meeting new friends

Giving parents free time

Activities include:- Team games in the Sports Hall with mixed group participation

Art and craft sessions

Basic cooking

Away activity days

Demonstrations and talks by public service groups such as the police and fire brigade

Christian teaching using visual media and interactive discussion

Admission fee for each session is Shell Club £1.50 and Youth Club £1.00

Away activity trips incur a small additional charge

A tuck shop provides free fruit, soft drinks and biscuits

Additional sweets may be purchased
